Summer Solstice 2025

This year’s summer solstice at Stonehenge witnessed a record attendance, with an estimated 25,000 people gathering to witness the sunrise.

Having visited the site many times over the past few years, it was incredible to see such a large crowd. The atmosphere felt more like a massive music festival, undoubtedly due to the incredible weather we’ve had this week and the promise of a spectacular sunrise. It was quite the spectacle this year and I captured nudists (with their permission I add!), an artist painting and an emergency call out from the South Western Ambulance service. You can view the entire project here.
