Canary Wharf’s ‘real good’ campaign
Earlier in the year, I spent a few days walking around Canary Wharf with the Creative Director from their design team.
We were aiming to capture real moments, with real people, to show the retail and leisure offering Canary Wharf does so well. The brief was to keep the images as authentic as possible, and with that in mind, we had no models; we just photographed whoever we found on the day.
I do love working like this, but at the same time, it is slightly daunting because you have no idea of what you are going to capture. They had organised permissions in a few shops, which definitely helped, and we managed to persuade some staff members to be in the photos as well as members of the general public who were there.
The results were good, and we were lucky with people agreeing to be photographed. Here is a small amount of the images that were taken to give a flavour of something a bit different.
