Persiste el viento
‘Persiste el viento’ which translates to ‘the wind persists’. I found this phrase painted on a rock in the gardens of the villa we stayed in last week. It was a beautiful house in a very quiet rural area, near the small Spanish town of Pareja. The house had access to a stunning lake at the end of the garden which we swam and kayaked in.
It was a thoroughly relaxing week with children and friends, we spent most of the week chilling by the pool and eating good food. We had one day trip into Madrid, which is a great city! The images below capture some of the quiet moments from the villa and a few more chaotic scenes from the capital.
