Documenting life in Mayfair
Last summer on an amazingly hot and sunny day I spent some time photographing around Mayfair. It’s an amazing part of London for people watching, all walks of life can be found. Tourists, fashionistas and workers in there droves.
The wealth and money in the area is quite extraordinary, especially on Mount Street. Which felt like had stepped into a different world, every other car was either a Ferrari or a Lamborghini. Audis and Mercedes seem low grade here, if there was ever a place to make you feel like total failure it is surely here! (Not put off, I’m still happy with my dad car, the trusy Volvo!) I trudged the streets and revealed in the deep shadows and amazing outfits to be found. The colour, atmosphere and interest was captured in all its glory.
